Today Ella and I had a wonderful day at flying kites again at the park.  It was for sure a better day with a nice breeze, ideal for kite flying.  Ella was able to take 2 kites at the same time and we even laid on the ground to fly our kites.

Perfect Day For A Kite

Several weeks ago I bought Erica and Ella their first kite.   They watch the weather every day for the right time to say, Papa the winds blowing outside, lets fly the kites.  I had to say several times the weather was just not right. Either it was raining or Ella thought she saw the wind blowing outside.  Well, today was the day.  The sun was out, the temperature was right and there was a slight wind.  So I took the girls to a local park to fly their kites. The girls really enjoyed flying the kites.  We will for sure head back to the park the next nice day.  How fun...

Salute to Kids Day

Sunday turned out to be a great day.  I took the girls to the Mariner Kids Day at Safeco Field.  The girls each received a nice Mariners baseball shirt.  When we got to our level, I heard some one say Hi Robb.  I turned around and it was our neighbor Pam.  It was so funny to go to the ball park with thousands of people and then see you neighbor.  We had hot dogs to start with, moved to the cotton candy, which Ella was so excited to get.  Then we had hot peanuts.  The game was fun, but our team lost to the Tigers.

Spring 2009

Last night Jill and I celebrated our 17th Anniversary.  Jill made reservations at Caspian Grill a Persian restaurant in the UW District.   We arrived at 7:30 pm and had a nice table toward the front close to the musician and later saw a beautiful belly dancer.  We both had a glass of Lebanese wine with our dinner, which was really good!  Had a really great time and plan to take the girls back.

Sunday turn out really nice.  It was sunny and in the low 70's.  The girls had a little picnic will little Tilly on our back patio.  I don't think Tilly knew what was going on.  The girls actually wanted to go swimming in the lake, but I had to tell them the water was to cold.  Afterward we did some sping cleaning around the yard.  The girls are such good little helper.  Later we went to the grocery store to pick up a few items for dinner.  I cooked some Hot Dogs with potato salad and Cole slaw.  Next weekend will be celebrating Easter.
